About Tyson
Tyson Mielke is a freelance writer residing on the Discovery Passage side of Vancouver Island, BC in a town full of beauty, whispers and secrets.
His experience is as mixed and motley as the west coast weather and some of it includes: producing and writing an on-line daily newscast for the insurance world: www.ilstv.com; writing scripts for the Discovery Channel series Investigators of the Last Frontier; developing promotional video scripts for clients such as the Royal BC Museum; penning sample essays for the English language instructional video The Basic Cozy Essay Course®: www.splashesfromtheriver.com; acting as Project Manager and Lead Writer for Mosaic of Aviation Memories - a website dedicated to the seaplane history on Northern Vancouver Island: www.aviation.mosaicprojects.net; and writing an advertorial for Happy Paws Pet Food which ran in the Victoria Times Colonist, The Island's Marketplace, and the Campbell River Courier.
Tyson currently lives with his wife Rachael and dog Shaggy - an animal not known for his social graces.
